Why do people think "The Suburbs" are so conservative and Republican?

The suburban county I live in (Seminole county in Fl., outside of Orlando) is almost 90% Republican...and oh btw we have the best school system in the state and one of the best in the country....Oviedo H.S. recently scored in the top 3 in the country as to avg. SAT scores. We have crazy good demographics.
