How come at the town meetings senators and representatives are not answering any real questions?

Anytime I hear about these time meetings I keep hearing our congress lying and saying things that are in the bill aren't and those are lies. I have read the bill and it does make private insurance illegal, force senior citizens into death counseling, and ration healthcare. The congressman have no excuses for their lies. The senators keep saying that stuff is not in the bills, but they are out selling their bill which is not even written yet. The only bill that American citizens can read is the house bill, which does contain all the aforementioned. I think if senators are going to try to sell their bill they should write it first. Am I wrong?
