Converse, Inverse, Contrapositive question?

the relationship is contrapositive because the first says if rectangle, then parallelogram while the second says if not rectangle, then not parallelogram. if, then --> if not, then not is a contrapositive. these two statements are not equivalent because the first one is true. a rectangle is a parallelogram. the second statement is false. not all parallelograms are rectangles so just because a shape isn't a rectangle doesn't mean it can't be a parallelogram. like a rhombus, for instance.
