Why did he act interested if he isn't? What is wrong with me?!?

Yes - I'm having a pity, woe-as-me party. I met a guy 3 weeks ago through a friend. He invited me and my guy friend over and we ended up staying on the couch and the guest bedroom. He is very family oriented and religious which are both pluses for me! He was very cute and we talked all night before turning in and he gave me a kiss before we separated ways for the night. The next morning, he asked for my number. The next day I made plans with him and we ended up doing the deed! He was my third (I'm 22) and the only guy I have ever been with that I wasn't dating. We cuddled all night and into the next afternoon. Then two days went by before I finally gave in and texted him to make plans again. We finally hung out the following week and went to the beach and kissed all night. Since then, I've texted him a few times with him returning them promptly but he hasn't tried to reach me since Sunday. I deleted his number and immaturely but out of hurt, unfriended him on Facebook. I just don't want to bother him if hes not interested! I can't believe I let him turn me into a fool like that. I feel disrespected and very rejected. Do you think he'll notice/ try to contact me again? I don't understand what I did wrong. :(
