Are we as Christians, breaking the commandments when we attend different churches?
My friend so far there have been less than a handful who because you have the spirit of truth in you see what is not only wrong but ignored because 2 verses that are taken for granted by Christians are, Romans 10:3 and John 14:26. There has only been you and maybe 2 others that stand out by acknowledgment of this. Here is one time that it is so obvious that Matthew 7:13-14 speaks for itself. To hear people committed to the Lord and seeking His truth using the word religion in the sense that it is about what is God and what he wants us to know shows the depth of their shallowness. Only a careless mind can't see this: 1,000,000,000 different churches all claiming the truth but all in disagreement with each other. Doesn't this beg the question what is it all about??? Its all about the truth. Isn't that what they all claim? Then who has it? Romans 10:3 "For being ignorant of the righteousness of God and going about to establish their own righteousness.." Is this so hard to see went you look at Mormons or JW's who did exactly as written? It is the Holy Spirit that guided me to the truth to be learned and God left us examples that fore shadowed certain things we should grasp and God's example of religion is Cain and Able. Cain killed Able cause the Lord favored His sacrifice. Able made his sacrifice to the Lord the way He was taught by Adam, the blood sacrifice but Cain made his sacrifice from what was grown from the earth, some say because the earth was cursed but regardless it was not the sacrifice that God demanded and it angered Him. God told them how to worship Him as He has told us which is in SPIRIT and TRUTH. Religion is man's righteousness (which is as dirty rags says JC) over God's. If the HS "..brings to remembrance all things about Christ" and teaches all truth, then the HS is the common denominator of all who have the truth, therefore if all Christians had the Holy Spirit we would all be in one accord in Christ as the Word demands and there would be no denominations. If religion were worshiping God in spirit and truth, then there would be just one Christian religion., Religion being man's righteousness leads to self because it is self-righteousness that established itself as religion speaking for God. Look at the Pope, his self-righteousness as declared himself infallible and because Catholics are religious spirited Christians can't see that they are following a man and not God. But there is a reason for religion and it has yielded 2 distinct types of Christians, those with a personal relationship with God and those whose religious spirits have kept them in self, these are Nominal Christians. To the Christian with the personal relationship religion is merely a stepping stone in the foundation of our faith for we had to start somewhere, for there was the knowledge we learned that saved us and the knowledge to be learned after we are saved. The Nominal types had not the HS to give them a hunger for the word to study and become grounded in the truth .To those who have keep His commandments in our hearts He has given us wisdom to see what is about to happen. The next prophecy to be fulfilled is the Rapture. Check this out: The rapture is represented in Rev. 3:10-13 and here is why I know: v.10 ""Because thou has keep the word of my patience I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation that shall come to try all that dwell on the earth" The hour of temptation is whether or not to take the number. v. 11 " Behold I come quickly....let no man take thy crown." This "crown" is not the same as a crown for a king but the word is taken from a Greek word which means a type given to the winner of a race. Paul expresses this in 8 verses that Christian life to compared to running a race. v.12 ""Him that over comes will I make a "pillar" in the temple of my Father and he shall go no more out.." What do "pillars" in a temple stand on, a foundation, who is the foundation of the Church, Christ and the "pillars" are the Raptured Bride of Christ. Furthermore the word "church" itself is not mentioned again until the last Chapter 22:16, which is a scene in heaven. But for those who believe that all Christians shall be raptured because they all believe in Christ, here is where your religion as failed you: If all Christians believed the same things about Christ there would be NO DENOMINATIONS. Rev. 3:20 is JC standing out side of the Church knocking on the door, who knocks on a door from the inside? He is outside and those on the inside are your "left behind" Christians left with the non-believers. That is plain and obvious to see but I have met no other Christian that I can tell that can see it, they just agree. Matt. 7:13-14 tells me if there will be few in eternity then the Rapture will be miss by main stream Christians cause they have not gotten past religion. Brother I sure hope you get it. God Bless you!
