Taking a Laptop, DVDs and Handheld Game Console on a B.A Flight to America?

I am wondering if there are any issues, information or any suggestions, I wish to take my laptop and some dvd's and a nintendo ds onto the flight as take-on luggage, for the sake of keeping them safer than putting them in my regular luggage.The laptop, DVDs and DS all fit into a laptop bag. Is there anything I need to know about taking them through security and such so as I can get through it as quickly as possible.

Yes I research all candidates. I have received emails on Obama on some of what you mentioned. You can get the truth at snopes.com. I have found that there are many people out there that will just believe anything they are told. Many are basing their votes on what they see on TV and not doing any research whatsoever. Unfortunately these same people will be casting votes. So all we can all do is get as much info as possible and try to make the best informed decision for each of us. There is no reason, in a time of all our high tech, that we can't find out the truth from all the bull flying around out there. Good for you though checking things out!

My parents are fighting (cross-families)?

Let them work out their own problems. Don't be worrying about what might happen. When the time comes for you to graduate or get married send the invitations to both parents and their spouses. If you mom is not remarried then it should include"guest". If anyone says anything then inform them that you do not want to exclude anyone and you expect all to act like mature adults. If one or the other wants you to take sides in an argument just stop them and say you do not want to be in the middle and they should work it out. Then step away. You will be happier and they will know that you will not be millipitated (sp)
